Leadership as An Essential Asset

To succeed a start-up business needs a strong idea, great timing, sound strategy and a management team with a diverse set of skills and a willingness to listen and hear each other's differing points of view.  And, of course, it needs sufficient capital to translate ideas into action.

Even with all of that, though, a start-up company will most often fail without a leader who can create and manage the tension between wanting to do everything and doing those things that matter most in terms of creating value.

At Intellivisit we are thrilled to have found such a leader in John Matthews.  John is an old friend of mine from a time when we roamed the halls of the Wisconsin State Capitol.  Over the years I have had the privilege of working with John on various efforts.  His ability to find clarity in the chaos of the moment and build consensus on the right strategic path is unparalleled.  I am thrilled that he has accepted the role of Board Chairman for Intellivisit.  I look forward to his inspired leadership in 2016!
